Sick of lying awake at night thinking you're the only person in the world who's still awake? You're not alone. With all the stresses of daily life, it's little surprise that you sometimes have trouble sleeping. Worries about your latest crush, whether you fit in with your mates or even more serious things like bullying can all contribute to a bad nights sleep.
    1. Bullying
Bullying can take many forms, and if you're a victim of it, chances are you'll feel embarrassed, humiliated, alone, depressed, helpless and sometimes even afraid. Whether you're being bullied for wearing the wrong shoes or because you have a funny accent, the most important thing to remember is that the bully is the one with the problem, not you!

If you're being bullied, try to remember there's nothing to be ashamed of. Hold your head up high and remember that the bully is a coward; then tell an adult what's been happening and let them deal directly with the bully.
    2. Looks and Body Image
Every teenage girl in the world worries about the way she looks. A very extreme but not uncommon reaction to these feelings is to develop an eating disorder. Some people under eat, or exercise excessively trying to keep their body weight down. Others overindulge and over-eat, in an attempt to make themselves feel better.

If your body image is keeping you awake at night, remember a person's looks are just a tiny part of what makes the whole person. If you have an eating disorder then you should seek professional advice about how to overcome it. Contact your GP and see a counsellor for help in dealing with the desires you have to change your body.
Are you worrying about any of these issues?
Maybe you're having problems at home or you're struggling with questions over your sexuality. Whatever your problem, share your thoughts and experience with other MKP users here.
