Billie Piper
Billie’s confidence and contagious smile are key to her sex appeal. She has a cool disregard for the media; she’s the girl next door who does what she pleases and doesn’t give a stuff if a pap photographs her in her PJs. This chilled-out attitude extends to her make-up too: it’s simple and pretty, but unconventional too thanks to her dark brows and blonde locks. If you are thinking about dying your hair, make sure you go to a reputable salon, unscrupulous ones often use inferior dyes and the colour can look cheap or worse still, greenish! Maintain your colour with John Frieda’s Sheer Blonde shampoo and conditioner, which consistently win beauty awards for best colour maintenance washes.
Billie rarely uses heavy foundation or concealer, but tinted moiturisers are much more skin-friendly and best for summer. Our favourite is Clinique’s Almost Makeup, which provides a lovely sheer coverage as well as SPF15. It won’t clog pores either, which is great when the temperature rises and your pores need to breathe.
Work your eyes more than any other feature for real Billie P presence. Use a precision liquid eyeliner like Number 17 and apply under bottom lashes from mid-way only - if you draw a line from one corner to the other, you’ll look like a goth!
Mascaras are forever making promises, but we recommend Max Factor’s new Masterpiece mascara, which has a small applicator for corner to corner defining – and the gold packaging is pretty cool too.
Billie’s lips could almost put Angelina’s to shame, but don’t do a dark colour if you’re not blessed with her pout, it will actually make your lips look smaller. Grab a Benefit Colour Plump pencil and apply with your finger for subtle colour, there are three great shades to choose from, including a light pink. You can even apply to cheeks for a rosy glow instead of forking out for a blusher. Now that really is ‘Rose’ magic.
