The Pussycat Dolls are all set for world domination – if you haven’t heard of them, you’ve probably been living underground with earmuffs on for the past two months. Stila are responsible for the band’s make-up on their European tour, and we asked the company to give us the exact ingredients to achieve Nicole’s sexy feline look.
As a base, use Stila’s Illuminating Foundation, it gives a sheer to medium coverage and the colour or ‘wattage’ ranges from pale (10 watts) to deep brown (100 watts) so no skin tone is left out (Nicole uses 70 watts). For cheeks, use Convertible Colour in Rose – the pink compact is really cute and you can also use the cream on your lips. Nicole’s eyes are the tricky bit. The main thing is to blend from the middle of the eye towards the outer edges, but remember this works best on almond-shaped eyes. If you have round eyes, smudge the liner only under your bottom lashes as this will make your eyes look even bigger than usual (Stila’s Kajal Eyeliner in Black is super soft and great for blending). Nicole has used a combination of colours on her lids, blending rusty tones with shimmer (Shadow Pot in Flame). These deep reddish colours really set off darker skins, but if you are pale, try soft petal pinks instead like Cassia or Bouquet. Finally apply no.9 lip pencil and feather along your natural lip line, then fill with a plum-coloured gloss. Purrfect for a night on the tiles.
