"It’s always refreshing to hear that members of celebsville encounter the same trials and tribulations as we do, especially when it’s a celeb like Taylor Swift, who managed to (temporarily) bag Joe Jonas! The young country singer, who was recently dumped by the Disney star in a 27-second phone call, says that she used to be bullied when she was growing up. She revealed “A lot of girls thought I was weird. Actually, the word they liked to use was annoying,” adding, “I’d sit at their lunch table and they’d move to a different one.”
Taylor insists that even her new found fame hasn’t increased her popularity “It’s funny - I thought my contact list in my phone would grow if I was in the music industry,” she says. “But I had more people in my phone book when I was in high school!”
The newly single singer says that she even encountered vicious tongues from members of the public on a recent shopping trip to underwear shop, Victoria’s Secret, “I look up and there are, like, 15 people looking at me, with camera phone out, waiting to take a picture of which kind of underwear I'm going to buy. They were saying, ‘Think she’s a small or an extra small?’” she says, adding “I wanted to be like, ‘Uh guys? I can hear you.” If a star like Taylor can come away unscathed, I sure we can!
