What’s the best freebie you’ve ever been given?
Oh there’s so many! I have to say Mulberry are very good to me in the handbag department, and they’re my favourite things in the whole wide world so that’s great! I got a Wii which I don’t know how to use! But I get loads of nice clothes and cosmetics. Clinique sent me a nice bag full of stuff recently.

Who’s the most famous person in your mobile?
I haven’t actually got that many famous friends. There’s Holly obviously... and Davina and me often text... Then there’s my new Mount Kilimanjaro friends [Fearne climbed Mount Kilimanjaro for Comic Relief with Gary Barlow, Chris Moyles, Cheryl and Kimberley from Girls Aloud and Alesha Dixon, among others]... Chris Moyles texts me EVERY day: ‘Morning!’, and I’m like ‘Morning Chris!’ every day. It’s bonkers!

What was the last text message you received?
Probably from Chris! Let me just check... [get’s her phone out]... yep, it was from Chris, ‘Morning’ and I texted back, ‘Morning, how are you?’ and he put ‘Good. Training was good. Had a stir fry.’ Interesting!

What’s the most cash you’ve ever splashed on one thing?
My house I guess really, which is a bit boring. Or item-wise probably my watch, which was a nice little treat to myself. It was about £1500, but I’ve only got one watch and if I wear it till I die then for pound per wear it’ll work out quite well, won’t it?! [she shows MKP a very swish and sparkly Chanel number].

What’s the weirdest thing you’ve ever been sent by a fan?
I don’t really get sent that much coz it just goes to the radio. But me and Reggie do get sent some funny stuff. We’ve had some odd stuff recently, I got sent some Mamma Mia dungarees, that was quite weird. I tried them on in the studio just for a laugh. We get sent letters and stuff but if they look particularly creepy I just ignore them!

Who’s the vilest celeb you’ve ever encountered?
Everyone’ s been pretty alright, I’ve been pretty lucky. I used to sort of dread interviewing Avril Lavigne because she’d always have her hair over her face so I couldn’t see her eyes and she’d never really want to chat, which is always quite difficult when you’re trying to interview someone! So I used to dread that coz I’d think it was going to be really awkward. Me and Holly always compare the people we’ve met and she had a really bad experience once with Pierce Brosnan. She said he was really rude and was like ‘Come on you’ve got two minutes! Go, start!’ and then he was like ‘You’re time’s running out!’ so she was really flustered. So she said he wasn’t great, but you know, some people just have groggy days, I mean I’m probably the same, you have good days and bad days don’t you? He was lovely to me...

And the nicest?
Well on Sunday I interviewed Robert Downey Jnr at the Baftas and he was SO lovely and funny and sweet. Actually everyone was lovely on Sunday. Other than that, McFly are always lovely, I’ve known them since when they started, I always saw them on Saturday morning telly and they’re adorable. I know Harry quite well, he’s been for tea at my house! They’re all very nice boys.

Which celeb reality show would you do if you absolutely had no choice?
Probably Dancing On Ice coz then I could just hang out with Holly! That would be my excuse, I’d just hang out with her and she could laugh at me falling over on the ice. But I’d never do a reality TV show, I’d like to present one but not go in one. I think I make a big enough fool of myself on TV anyway without trying to learn a skill in front of everyone!

Would you ever get your kit off and pose in the buff, and if yes, how much?
NO WAY! That is my worst nightmare! It’s like a bad dream! I can’t think of anything more horrific, there’s just NO WAY, EVER! Urgh, that’s so embarrassing!

Tell us some juicy celeb gossip
Well at the Baftas Mickey Rourke thought my nose was running but it was actually his annoying bodyguard’s umbrella that was dripping onto my face, so Mickey kind of went to wipe my nose! That was quite an awkward moment! Dominic Cooper who I love nearly didn’t make it to the Baftas coz he was on a boat on the Thames in the morning and he managed to lose his mate’s ticket! He was having a nightmare on the red carpet coz he was trying to do interviews whilst trying to get his mate in! He’s really sweet. Um... what else... well, Reggie is in LA at the moment and he keeps Blackberry-ing me to say ‘I’ve just bought an icecream’! Oh and he carries baby wipes with him in his bag in case his trainers get dirty! Which is pathetic in my eyes. If you go anywhere near his shoes he’s like ‘Whoa!’ So that’s pretty funny, and he gets a new car every month coz he thinks that’s flash. What else... Holly is eating loads of cake at the moment. I went round there the other day and made her this big butterfly cake and we had some with a cup of tea, and then I asked her what she was having for her dinner and she said ‘I’ll just have some more cake!’ So she’s having loads of cake, it’s hilarious! It’s her birthday today actually, so I’ve got her some really nice gingham cushions and some coat hook things... it all sounds quite boring but we are quite boring and domesticated these days!
