As if we didn’t all think it already, it’s become even more obvious that Cheryl Cole deserves better than hubby Ashley. While the country’s darling is struggling her way up a mountain to raise money for charity, her hubby Ashley was busy getting arrested for being drunk and disorderly outside a club.
A sozzled Ashley allegedly got angry and aggressive after photographers snapped him chatting to a girl, and then ignored police attempts to calm him down, leading them to handcuff him and bang him up until 5.30 in the morning.
We don’t reckon Chez will be too pleased, not least because he’s broken the “no clubbing” pact they agreed on. “Ashley agreed not to go out boozing with his teammates, who Cheryl thinks are a bad influence on him,” says a friend of Chezza. “That deal had been in tact ever since... up until Wednesday night. Cheryl even reminded him of it before going away to Africa. She will be privately very upset that something has blown up again as a result of him going out – especially when she is away.”
To make matters even worse, Cheryl was already struggling yesterday as she continued her climb up Mount Kilimanjaro for Comic Relief. The Girls Aloud star is suffering from altitude sickness and had to have a jab to stop her from being ill.
