After eight days of pain, tears, collapsing, nosebleeds and altitude sickness, the celebrities finally made it to the top of Mount Kilimanjaro. Cheryl Cole, Fearne Cotton, Alesha Dixon, Gary Barlow, Denise van Outen, Ronan Keating, Chris Moyles, Kimberley Walsh and Ben Shepherd raised a whopping £1.5million for Comic Relief during their climb and were elated (and absolutely shattered!) when they got to the top.
”It has been, without question, the single most mentally and physically challenging experience of my life,” said Cheryl. But the drama won’t stop there for the Girls Aloud singer, as she’s about to have another showdown with her hubby Ashley, after he was arrested and fined last week for being drunk and disorderly. A source said: “Cheryl has been shielded from a lot so she could concentrate on the climb, which was really tough. But she knows he has been acting the fool and she is furious. He will be in for the mother of all b******ings.” Uh-oh, watch out Ashley!
