George Sampson has revealed that a year on from winning Britain’s Got Talent he feels left behind by judge Simon Cowell. The dancer believes that the music mogul is more interested in working with his X Factor artists Leona Lewis and Alexandra Burke and isn’t paying him enough attention. Sampson, 16, is also baffled that he owes Simon’s firm for his dance DVD Access 2 All Areas despite high sales.
The cute dancer explained, "Things aren't going so well with me and Simon. I suppose he's realised he can make more money out of other people. But I thought we were tight. I had one of the best-selling DVDs at the start of the year. We sold loads of copies. But I've just found out that Simon's company takes ninety per cent of the revenue. I get ten per cent. But I have to pay the production costs out of that. So I ended up owing them money. I'm not quite sure how it all works but that can't be fair, can it?"
George is also bitter that Simon splashed out on a £6,000 Chanel handbag for Alexandra Burke’s 21st last week when he only received £150 of vouchers for his last birthday. The BGT winner complained, "All he got me was vouchers for Harrods. What am I supposed to buy in there?" Oh dear, we think it would be better for the Cheshire lad to keep powerful Mr Cowell on side!
