Falling For Christmas
Each year we have a school Christmas carol concert and this year a few of my family were coming, so I was quite nervous and excited. As we waited in the wings I saw my nan and mum in the front row and waved at them. We took to the stage and everyone clapped. As we sang the first song I began to get really hot as I was directly under a big spotlight and was wearing a long-sleeved woollen shirt. Suddenly I felt dizzy and felt myself blacking out. I was standing at the back of the group and fell forward. The next thing I know I'm lying on the stage surrounded by teachers. I'd fainted and disrupted the whole concert, not to mention the fact that my nan was getting in a right state thinking I was really ill or something. Doh…
