With a nod to the eighties Wang’s SS09 collection was a mass of oversized shirts, bodycon dresses and slouchy shorts. Models stormed down the runway clad in leather skinny trousers and jumpers, jersey rolled up shorts and thin mesh made into revealing dresses. The colour palette saw pink blazers paired with clashing orange separates and block turquoise and black hues paired together to create a striking strapless dress (since spotted on the likes of Lindsay Lohan and Diane Kruger). With such a wearable collection Alexander Wang is definitely one to watch.
