havent got an accent but everyone says i 'talk posh'
my best friend adds dialect into her speech dunno how else to say it like she'll be talking normally and then drop in phrases like 'am ya talking to er' - one of the things i can't stand about her. think i have issues with the black country dialect can't stand am ya and yow. she's not even from the black country

*rant over*

[br]I have a really odd accent.
Apparently I sound really posh, but I also sound Australian.
I'm from London, and no-one else in my family has a similair accent. WTF?
So, oui. Strange.

Nah you're alright, one of my best mate has an American accent: she lives in Norfolk and her parents are from Hull!
I have a Cambridge accent but I still say baff and kas-el (castle) and things because my parent's are from Liverpool. When I get pi's's'ed off however, my voice goes higher and I get a bit of Scouse rage. Mmm!

Doesn't everyone have an accent?

Anyway, I'm Glaswegian but I have more of an Edinburgh tinge to my accent. My boyfriend and his friends call it the "University accent".
