Back in the day rock bands used to be famous for their crazy antics… think chucking telly’s out of windows, trashing hotel rooms, feuds with other bands and other general bad boy behaviour. So, we gave new comers Go: Audio the MKP rock test to see if they can cut the mustard with the Pete Doherty’s of this world or whether they’re just too clean cut for their own good!
What’s the longest you’ve ever gone without sleep?
Erm, about 48 hours. I think it was when we were recording an album and we just stayed up recording, writing and partying.
Have you ever trashed a hotel room?
Well all the hotel rooms we’ve stayed in all have locks on their windows, so if we tried to throw a TV out, you wouldn’t see it. They’re all chained down! Actually, I once left the shower curtain outside of the bath!
Oooh hardcore! What’s the longest you’ve worn the same clothes for?
Two days. I’m actually one of those people when I’m on tour I have to change and I always end up bring loads of clothes just so I can quickly change because I know how horrible it gets.
Have you ever snogged a groupie?
No, nothing like that!
Would you even consider dating a fan?
Yeah, why not!
What is your favourite film?
That’s got to be The Machinist with Christian Bale.
And who’s your rock idol?
Noel Gallagher. I used to be a massive Oasis fan. I’ve seen them live quite a few times, I just think he’s a genius. I’ve gone off him slightly more as I’ve got older but I’d still like to meet him because you can’t take away what he’s done.
How old were you when you went to your first gig and what was it?
Probably an Oasis gig or something when I was about 14.
